William L. Crull, III

William L. Crull, III, graduated from Tulane University and Loyola Law School. He was an adjunct instructor and taught The Adversary Process, an undergraduate course, at Tulane Law School 1988-97. Bill is a member of New Orleans and Louisiana State Bar Associations, is admitted to all Louisiana courts and federal district courts and U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He served for many years as court-appointed criminal defense counsel in federal and state courts. He has tried jury and bench trials in Orleans and Jefferson Parishes and in many surrounding parishes. He is a former board member of the Jefferson Criminal Bar Association. Bill retired as a Captain, U.S. Naval Reserve following three years of active duty in the Fleet as a gunnery officer and twenty years in the reserve. While on active duty he also served as defense counsel on special courts-martial.

Practice areas include state civil and criminal trials, felonies, domestic abuse battery misdemeanors, DWI/DUI, arrest of visitors, seeking of pre-trial diversion of criminal prosecutions and expungements. In the civil area, he concentrates principally in automobile personal injuries and nursing home injuries. Bill has enjoyed a Martindale-Hubbell rating of AV for many years.

Bill is active in church affairs and, in the past, was active with the Boy Scouts at his church. He is married to the former Alice Watson, and they have four grown children.
